Spalted Apple on a JR Gents Pen

A Gold plated JR Gentlemen's pen on one of the beautiful Spalted Apple blanks from Woody's collection .. Finished with a few coats of friction and polished just using Shellawax Cream ..

You almost had some competition with that one Jim first of today I got some of the apple ready to drill when Vi ask for the Empress seeing as you have made such a great job of that one Jim I'm glad I done the others it sure is a beautiful pen mate I'm waiting for a new bandsaw blade then I will cut up the last log of the apple

This is some of the best blanks i have seen if i am honest Woody, i could make a Dogs Dinner with one of these blanks and it would look like its cousin the Dogs Danglies .. :bwink:

Got to agree with you Jim it is something else the next lot on offer will be the last

Nicely turned Jim lovely blank that I am glad I picked some up, hope I get the chance to turn it before it rots away altogether init?
