I think this is Ash but I could be wrong. Picked up a piece of wood in the woods a few months back. It has a mahogany band and 10 layers of ca. I went to have a go at thread cutting, inspired by Davids kitless pen but couldn't do it so made this instead. I'll have another go at thread cutting tomorrow.
