Not sure if this hybrid works
I'd say it's a great success. I like it a lot - it goes really well with the hardware. I'm not totally convinced by the shape at the bottom by the nib I'm afraid, (sorry) but the marriage of components, wood and leftovers looks excellent from where I'm sitting.

Still experimenting Phil.
The nib end was after feedback from some people who wanted a better "finger grip"

Thanks for the comments Steve.
The customer really liked the nib end as she found it more comfortable to hold.
I understand what you and Phil say, and the nib end design is an ongoing process for me.
