My First attempt at this sort of pen. Gradually expanding my horizons.
I used a lovely blank of spalted beech and The Cassic Elite Fountain Pen Kit. I had to turn off 1/8" from the top blank. I fond I didn't have a parting tool small enough to do this job. A quick hunt around my carving tools sorted this out.
I'm pleased with the result. What do you think?

Postable, much more than appealing picture its a ripper. Full marks for the flawless background,it shows the fullness of the pen,its design and togetherness. Heaps of lessons in that pen for us in care, shape, choice of timber. The pen uses a humble clip that allows the timber to predominate as it should. Coming to the pen when closed all the centre features allowed you to have an impressive top in the pocket, open its ready for business or pleasure. Commendable pen Mike it takes its place in the hall of extra careful pens.
