Spalted beech fountain pen

Hey all,this is a spalted beech pen turned today,Jr Gentlemans kit in gold fountain pen
Glued with epoxy,turned with a scraper and skew then finished with friction polish

Very nice, you had nice piece to start with there, my lovely piece of spalted beech all the figuring and colour landed on the shed floor :funny:

Ive gone through a few pieces of spalted beech in the past...most is in the bin now but this one came out fine
