Spalted birch fountain pen

Hi,

This is my first post so be gentle!

I've been turning pens off and on for a few years for my own personal enjoyment

Finally decided to stick my head above the parapet and wondered what you all thought of this effort.

Locally sourced (picked up in the forest) spalted birch. Dried out for a couple of years and paired with a gold Omega kit.

Hi Keith thanks for the compliment - finish is Chestnut Melamine lacquer, cured for a few days then burnished with Chestnut burnishing cream
