This Cherry just seams to get better with each piece I cut.
This an off cut from a larger blank which I will working with on a couple of fountain pens soon.
Had to go with a thin top, the piece was to small to use really, just could not bin it.

I am not sure if I have seen spalted cherry before, it really nice:thumbs: the upper barrel looks a little of balance with the larger blower barrel though, but still a nice pen.

It is a little large - but looks better in the flesh and feels ok.
Really like the Cherry just have to be careful. It has only been down for about nine months and I had to cut it and dry sooner than I though to stop it rotting away.
