Unfortunately the picture doesn't show the grain so well but this is a lovely pen with very light spalting. The first time I've used a streamline kit too and I like it. Finished with ca and autoglym.

Streamlines aren't my favourite kit, never really liked the centre band :nooidea:

Looks good Paul, another Thatchers cider for the Off licence?


This one is for the Post office in the next village Brian. they keep a case of my pens which I change out all the unsold ones each month to stop them getting stale. I also have another shop as well as the off licence and have had enquiries for another. I just need to make sure I can keep up with production because its a hobby and I must not become a chore where I'm forced to make pens.

I totally agree, if you start getting pressure to make pens, you'll start to dislike making them. Resist!
