Not wishing to take away from Dan's recent news, Beaufort Ink now has a large list of tubes, springs, mechanisms and other kit spares in stock, for many pen kits including jr gents, sierras, cigars, bullets, executives, slimlines, euro style, Omegas and Zetas to name but a few, with more on the way.

Dan and I have spoken at length on the subject and he is more than happy for us to carry tubes and other bits and bobs for his kits in tandem with his own website. Our rationalle is that if you need a tube or a spare, you can get it right now, and if you need to make up an order for carriage purposes, you've then got a choice of two different product ranges from the both of us.

Beaufort Ink's range of tubes and spares is already quite extensive. It's still growing and if there is anything in particular you'd like to see there, just shout and I'll see what can be done.

Pen tubes and spares

nice addition Phil
it is a royal pain when u have to drill a half stuck tube out and wait weeks for a replacement (rather than turn off thus wasting a special blank)
this is where a size \ kit database would help
I think a few people tried to get a database together

i.e no roman harvest or pristina tubes on the site but i bet another kit uses them

I'm just about to order some pristina kits for my own use Steve. I've currently no idea about the tube sizes, but rest assured I'll be looking in to it. Is the roman harvet the same tubes or different to the pristana?

Great idea Phil.
Be careful about differences in some of the kits though. The more experienced guys might be able to clarify but I found that the sierra especially has twist mechs that aren't always interchangeable. Had problems with those from TB and a UK supplier, source unknown.

Delivery arrived yesterday btw - many thanks.

Thanks for that Bob - yes, I know that some of the cheap and dare i say nasty sierra type kits have cheap and nasty mechs with a different thread (I hesitate to name names, but they can generally be identified by the fact that the embossed centre band looks not much better than a pressed milk bottle top with no black etching) but the mechs we've got should fit most sierra types out there, including the virage ballpoint and the elegant sierra.

They are different tubes for the Pristina and Roman Harvest.
