Guys,
I'm looking for a coloured ply blanks but I have specific colour requirements, I have searched extensively without luck. I would like to find something with red and black alternating stripes. I could try to dye and laminate myself but I suspect it would be hit and miss also I need quite a few (20-30)ish.
Has anyone come across anything that could fit the bill?

Any good?

I’ve actually laminated coloured veneers to make up my own ply. It’s not difficult but a bit time consuming. Birch is probably the best wood if you have to dye it yourself first though. Spirit dyes should work ok?

Thanks all, for the quantities required I think I'll try the dyeing and self lamination route.
Further question will dye get better penetration from some time in a pressure pot?

I’m not sure but I think a vacuum chamber might be better? Provided you use thin Birch veneers though I don’t think it would be necessary, just give them a good soak.
What adhesive are you planning on using? I’m a big fan of this stuff as many if not most wood glues display creep.

that's a good call, I was thinking PVA would do but this looks better. Thanks. I have a vac chamber too so all is good.

I have checked my browser history and found the source I used.... Strangely it's a gun stock supplier🤣🤣
I bought his off cuts on the bay of E, but there is a link to his shop for specific blocks/colours
