Hi guys,
just a Scottish Spurtle made today. Turned from English Cherry wood, sourced locally. Loved this wood, very fine grained wood easily turned and sanded down to a very fine finish. Just had a little walnut oil applied to the surface, to bring out the grain.
May turn more later, as I have a lot of rippled sycamore wood given to me early on this year.

Nice touch with the ribbon. This is a great project for practising spindle turning on.
