Thank you for showing us your first decent attempt, I hope you are very happy with it.
I know I would be, Not my favourite kit but then none of em are.
A slight misshape at the top near the cap finial or is that the angle of the pic?
Of course it could be my new glasses, poxy bifocals I hate em.

A great first effort Andy. I haven't had a go at this kit and don't think I've seen it before.

Turning and finish look good, sorry but the kit's not one I'd choose.

I think what Brian is referring to is the "dip" that looks to be there near the cap, but looking at it to me it looks like shadow on the pic rather than a dip.

Great first effort though, bloody sight better than my first. I still have mine as a point of reference, keep that and you can see how you progress over time.

Good stuff !

We'll done for a first 'decent' effort and I think they're all Kawakers (get it?) for not liking the kit, each to his own.

Thanks for the comments, and Brian you are correct, after closer inspection i concur there is a slight dip at the cap end.
Glad to see someone still goes to specsavers :chuckle:

Well done Andy the first is a hard one. I tried CA finish but was not happy, I never tried again.
It's onwards and upwards now, keep this pen and look back and you will see the improvement.

take care

Well done sir that is a very good first a lot of people would be proud to have made that pen personally I like the kit and always have they are a lot better quality than some of the new kits I have some over 20 years old and they are still going strong look forward to seeing your progress
