A piece of stabilised Burr Elm on an Alpha Fountain Pen. Finish is a few coats of CA polished with Hut’s Plastic Polish ..

Got it from Turners Retreat George, about four years ago now .. :winking:

Excellent pen Jim what was it like to turn?

The first few mm's are more solid Peter due to the resin, other than this no different from a good hard wood .. :thumbs:
