Stabilised Burr Elm On An Epsilon Pen ..

This is an small piece of Burr Elm that i cut up and stabilised as it was full of woodworm holes. The woodworm had long gone of course but had left a path of havoc which helps enhance the blank. This piece and a few others were very dark compared to the rest of the blanks for some reason .. The little black dots are where the holes were ..

Lovely Jim, stabilising does change the characteristics of the wood in how it looks and turns don't you think?
