Stabilised Sycamore

Now that the casting room is finished I thought I'd have a go at stabilising again so this is the results with a piece of Sycamore with a touch of dye added to the resin. Turning Stabilised wood is so easy, the finish with ca is easier and the grain shows through. I'd forgotten just how good it is to stabilise any wood.

Ha ha, I suspect that they will convert it to its original purpose of an outside toilet that I never got around to plumbing in.
