Again I'm wondering....
I often see wood or blanks advertised as stabilized or stabilised.....I googled it and it said something about pressure injection to fill the internal voids.....?? Is this the correct meaning for pen blanks?
Thanks
Nige

In my opinion it is the process of changing it into a state whereby it is stable and can be turned without falling to bits. This can be done in a variety of ways such as pressure injection, Cactus Juice or as I do with super thin ca.

Stabilised is the UK spelling and Stabilized American.

Stabilised is the CORRECT spelling and Stabilized is WRONG

What Phil said

Unless you live in America
Nope it's still "Stabilised". Some bloke called Noah Webster in America wrote a dictionary in 1828 where he re-spelt a lot of the words due to the fact that the USA used lots of different languages. Or was it because they just wanted to be different to the British :thinks:

I mean who wears their pants on the outside .... except for Superman?
