The journey begins! For my first try I am going for the TM Epislon, after a bit of recommendation from Robbie. I opted for some Brazilian Brown Ebony that we bought yesterday from Lignatarre, so thought I would post pictures of the progress - even if it is a dismal failure!

Drilled the blank on the lathe with an 11/32 drill bit. Robbie kept telling me to pull the drill out and clean the drill flutes as the ebony shavings were packing into the flutes. Seemed to drill out OK, so now sat waiting for the Gorilla glue to harden before I can start the next bit.
