Well there are less blemishes at least.... here is effort no.4 - no two pens have been the same yet as I'm trying out different kits & techniques.

Yes... Another very nice pen....
That's a slightly harder/denser blank than the last one, which would help..... I also use liquid buffing compound.... I used to use Farcla (which is a marine paint polish) but now use one from Machine mart (which is extreamly local... Walking distance) comes in 3 grades and a little goes a long way

Looking good.Is it a trick of the light or is that a strange taper toward the cap finial?Looks a wee bit odd.:thumbs:

I think it’s just the light - although I no longer have it the wife took it!

So I’m guessing it makes muster!
