Low life scum broke in to the unit over night and nicked ProEdge's, Sovereign box sets, Peter Child's Pyro units, Patriot chucks & jaw set and many other tools.
If anyone is offer this tooling cheap please don't buy it but let me know who they are.

Hope they catch them Neil.

Our village shop was broken in to last weekend, they cut a hole in the door and stole all the bottles of spirits, probably to order for Christmas.
It's a struggling husband and wife business and she lost both her parents in a 3 week period last month so is in a hell of a state anyway. The little ba**ards who do these things don't give a sh*t.

make sure all your stuff is well secured guys!

Really sad times for anyone, especially when they stock up for the festive period and then look to do some specials for the January sales..

having this experience of having my workshop cleared was the police just don't give a damm really, providing no one is hurt All it will be is another statistic that will never be on top of their list to recover.

Usual question from them is, did you have them insured?

All Ed can hope for is that they are seen for sale or they are tagged in another pick up somewhere.

In my experience they will disappear in to the depths of the gutter world these people deal with and will never be seen again.

We can only hope tho..fingers crossed.

Question for all of you out there, Would you know exactly what has been taken out of your workshop?

Do you have a record of what is in there? Could you account for everything?

I bet you won't.

Nope you are odd Derek.

You all know it is rare to see pro edges, so might be a good idea to look out for them.
10K of gift vouchers gone! now there's a course to look out for!

Wouldn't it be nice to nail them?

Worse is that these will still be bought either knowingly or unknowingly that they were stolen ..

I wouldn't jail the bastards IF they were caught. I'd put a mash hammer over their hand Hard. They wouldn't do it again. I'm sorry for Ed.

Just makes you sick really. You never know, if we all keep our eyes and ears open we just might find out something useful to nail the swine. I guess the reality is that it will just disappear into the morass of eBay.

There are some low lifes about, we all need to be on our guard, and if offered something unusually cheap there's a reason for it, some unfortunate woodturner / craftsman is short of that item.

I heard of a wee scot who broke into a van and stole two Still saws, brilliant guy, went into the nearby pub and by gods justice walked up to a working man and tried to sell the man his own tools! Very sore face was the price he paid. :funny:

Knew an Irishman who leaving the pub around chrismas time broke into the local school and stole a television. When the police knocked his door and told him they knew he had the tele, he was dumbfounded, aye dumb and founded out! The cops were happy enough to explain their rapid capture. Some of the school boys had followed paddy's footprints in the snow and phoned the boys in blue.
