A great looking box well made and I like the burned effect not over the top.

Like yourself I also use pallets I have 5 or 6 sitting on my patio ready for stripping down one of which is very heavy so I suspect that it is a hardwood one.

Clever stuff Graham. I notice you have the same issue with curtains that I had in that when closed they funnel all the heat out into the window. I popped a shelf on top of the radiator and 'er indoors shortened the curtains - didn't half make a difference to the room temperature. May save a bit of brass for pen making !
