Just wonder how you stored your CA?

Having gone to the cupboard where I keep my glues & finding a couple of bottles of CA whose contents were so thick & gloppy that I threw them in the bin, I had a look on the tinterweb.

One suggestion for unopened bottles was to freeze them, though I doubt I'd get away with that.
For opened bottles it was suggested to store the bottle in a jam jar with a sachet of the drying silica crystals etc in with it, this I thought was a good idea, but left me wondering if others had any handy tips?

Like Walter I keep my spare bottles in the fridge. I have read somewhere that it extends their shelf life by up to 18 months

I must be lucky because I haven't had a problem yet and just chuck it on the shelf where it can stay for months.

I use Ever build stick 2 industrial grade medium viscosity Superglue and dont store it in the fridge. I buy it four 100 grm bottles at a time, each one lasts me just short of a week and it lives in the shed varying between -5 in winter and 35+ when the place turns into a sweat box in the summer afternoons. I take the top off and chuck it away, I have two open at any time, one at each end of the workshop, they never go off or deteriorate.

Long term I use the kitchen fridge. Other than that the cupboard the I store my finishes in is nice and cool even on a hot day when I put my hand in the cupboard you can feel the temperature difference
