Storing/Uploading Videos.

How do you store and upload videos to use on forums?
Its the non you tube videos I am talking about.
I have tried using photo bucket but that didn't work.
Any hints.

How do you store and upload videos to use on forums?

To embed a video in a post on the forum the video first needs to be uploaded online to one of the following:

Hulu; YouTube; Vimeo; Dailymotion; Metacafe; Google or Facebook.

Videos stored on Dropbox or other cloud storage services cannot be enbedded but you can link to them.

To embed a video, click on the "insert video" link (the thing that looks like a couple of frames from a roll of film) enter the video clip URL in the pop up dialog box and click OK.

I am not sure Mark, you would have to check the settings on each site. I do know that with Facebook for example you can set a video so that only you can see it. The others probably have similar settings.

Edit: Just checked YouTube. You can set your upload settings to private.
