Hi all...i have been a real stranger to wood lately....i hope to change that for a bit.....or at least till i get more Mik Lawrence blanks
Well here we have a Zeta with a bit of Horse chestnut....finished with melamine alla Phil Dart's way
I love wood....you never know what your going to get till its turned.....it can be easier to turn....more forgiving....have more warmth.....i just don't get to do it
Mark the pic you used showed the deep detail in the timber and your sure turning to place it properly in the frame that pen kits provide. By minimising the kit influence it gives me that satisfaction when you can see the nuances timber provides. How fortunate we are with the choices displayed in plastic and natural/combined timber and plastic. Those who use ammunition so well on this forum.
Hi Peter......i have done way too many of Miks blanks and still getting more......they seem to evolve if i look at what i first started with.....to his previous trend.....to his current trend there is a clear path way and i love it....
