Streampunk pen in Thuya Burl

After doing a few workshop pencils in Acrylic, this is my first pen. I chose a Steampunk kit from Penn State Industries teamed up with a piece of Thuya Burl finished in melamine lacquer.

Stunning overall Ian you need care with the Melamine finish the thinners within are unsafe a bit like CA. Good presentation and turning mate. We have another new member from Donegal cant live too far from you.

When I saw the title of this post I thought the pen wasn't going to look right.
I was wrong the blank and the kit go together well Ian :thumbs:

I have tried these in timber and most have looked awful, i have to say that looks fantastic and really complements the idea of the kit:drool:

Thank you all for your kind comments - I should be posting a few more in the near future as my Bro-in-law brought me home a load of kits from the States!
