Oak, Teak and Mahogany on a slimline with gunmetal fittings and 10 layers of ca and polished with Autoglym.

I made a bunch of these blanks quite a while ago and thought I'd drag one through the lathe.

Paul, having taken on a challenge with many possibilities of error and or failure you came through with an unique pen all your own design no centreband the background in the pic holds it back but the pen shines for me.

Paul, I admire you're patience and workmanship but it doesn't work for me. Don't know whether it is the thickness of the bands relative to the finished length or the perpendicularity of the segments but it looks a bit like a gauge of some description.

2nd that about patience and workmanship. The thickness of the bands is something I really like ! It has a "quality" look, available now in Harrods !
