Well done, the 2nd and 4th ones look as though the top and bottoms have been changed around and don't look as if there made from the same piece of wood.. Might be the photo the way the light is hitting them..

They look good though.. Nice little collection.

the 2 and 4th and 6th are the same wood Yew
1st 3rd and 5th are Mahogany
and the 6th one l don't remember which wood it is, they are my first commissioned pens apart from the 6th one, Yew is 2 colors of wood usually tannish brown whitish cream.

l have had a look in my shed to-night and l could not see any box wood?? so if you put some in l must have used it earlier, but l could not remember using it, if you have got any, could you post a picture to jog my mind as to what it looks like.

If I remeber rightly, I actually wrote on it something like "you'll like this stuff, it turns like butter" or words to that effect.

I've got quite a bit left if you want some more, it came from the mother inlaw's garden in France. Apparently they have a load of other various bits for me next time they are over in November, hopefully they have sealed it this time though!

A real cheap point and shoot camera will deliver the goods if you experiment as if you were turning for the first time when you find a simple formula voila , Good pens mate.
