Can anyone please tell me what you use to get super glue of your hands / fingers / from under your fingernails etc.

I have just glued up four lots of blanks & tubes and i've got more glue on me than on the tubes :thinks:

At the risk of seeming to trivialise your predicament we have mostly all been there done that finger nail polish remover can soften it (appropriate for the nail part) it has a drying effect is not recommended to soak in it you can and should buy and keep handy proprietry brands of CA remover but like all of us in some things the stable door is open and the horse has bolted. Works for me. Like sniffing petrol not recommended sniffing the fumes, I use CA with a suction fan or blowing fan to minimise the fumes with the thinners same applies Hope it helps Billy.

Try and be more careful next time lol. Haven't you got a tube insertion tool? I glue up on that and then shove in the tube. No glue on me then!

Chew it off, I spend all night pulling the bits of ca off my fingers and if you're really good at it, you can get big bits. I've got gloves too but find them more of a pain that chewing the glue off.

I have bought from the same place as you Billy. I bought the bigger bottles but end up with problems because the end gets clogged up, falling out etc. I then bought some from where Alex get his and I think its better value and if there is a difference I think its better glue and better size pots although you can buy in smaller quantities from your place too.

Billy the best answer is to make a tube inserter from any suable material say hard wood turn it to a tapper from say 6mm to 12mm so it will fit most kits then push the tube over it apply the glue and insert the tube then wipe any surplus glue of the end of the tube inserter not your fingers job done and it works I have made loads of them from metal for people
