A lot of colour and figure for sycamore, Angelo - did you treat it in anyway? However acheived, the result is stunning.

Very nice, I have never seen sycamore come quite like that.

Plenty ca, sand to 2000, friction polish. I can get a few pens out of this.

Possibly because it is an entirely different timber.
The tree known as Sycamore in the UK is Acer pseudoplatanus
Platanus occidentalis is known as Sycamore in the USA.

Not even related.

Excellent pen Angelo, is Sycamore grown different in the USA, it surely is a nice piece of wood .. :thumbs:
