I was given some talc stone pen blanks some time ago to see what I did with them well I tried a bit of segmenting first but the talc stone was to soft and it just broke away from the plastic I think this must be some of the stuff coming out of Kenya as it is so very different to that from Oz one of the blanks had a piece of hard stone in it and one end fell apart because of it but the good thing with this material is its easy to get an invisible repair on it if you want to try and find it your welcome anyway as I said it is very soft so out come the extra thin ca glue in an attempt to harden it up otherwise it would scratch very easy in use turned using ordinary woodturning tools and sanded with 400 & 600 grits polished with Auto glym
