I did some courses at Craft Supplies @Millers Dale, bought a Shopsmith MarkV, which I had until a couple of years ago and got a fair chunk of my money back when I sold it.
My gouges today are the same ones from back then (although I keep threatening to replace them!)
Such a wonderful place and top be doing woodwork with the stream running at the back was so peaceful.

John Boddy was a great place Bill, I was a regular visitor. There’s Duffield timber just outside Ripon but nowhere near the range that John Boddy used to sellCraft supplies & John Boddy.
