Easy to turn but a bit pale. Maybe it'll darken up over time.

Now that I like bland it may be but it has an attraction all of its own very pure looking I love it and what a beautiful finish

A nice pen, Paul, and if you meet the right customer it will sell. If you have anymore of the wood why not try wiping some diluted brown wood stain along it? Be careful not to halt the process though, or else you'll get too much stain in one spot!

Sounds good Bob, I've never played with stain.
