I started this tap handle years ago from some forgotten type of fruit tree wood I picked up years ago in the Adelaide hills.
I had just finished turning it, came back the next day to put finish on it and found it had cracked.
Found it under the the bench the other day, filled the crack with epoxy and brass powder, half a dozen coats of Danish oil.
We will see how it goes now sitting outside getting all the warm afternoon sun.
