I started this tap handle years ago from some forgotten type of fruit tree wood I picked up years ago in the Adelaide hills.
I had just finished turning it, came back the next day to put finish on it and found it had cracked.:vangry:
Found it under the the bench the other day, filled the crack with epoxy and brass powder, half a dozen coats of Danish oil.
We will see how it goes now sitting outside getting all the warm afternoon sun.
