Blimey, I thought we were the only ones left still using real tea from a pot.
Everyone laughs at us not liking tea bags.
Good idea that one and well made init?
Like it might nick it but all wood for me.

That's very nice Tom. It reminded me that I have got quite a few of the Ceramic Plates somewhere and I may just do a few of these for Christmas. Did you glue the plate in position ? If I remember rightly I done one a few years back and glued the plate in and after a while the wood must have moved and the plate cracked.

looks nice does that Tom.

Did something similar but with a mirror, used as a crystal or ornament stand by her indoors - glad I didn't glue the mirror in as the oak has moved, it's taken 2 1/2 years to move tho!!

Great Tea Pot stand mate we dont drink tea and coffee but do drink all varieties of Herbal Teas so your stand really hit home to me as a beaut way to go. Came to me if the centre part cracked I would simply make another one.

Took us umteen years huge numbers of to find the perfect pourer in a tea pot finally achieved that so happy these years since.

Peter.

Nice idea and well made. I never use teabags, and invention of the devil in my view, all one tastes is paper. Give me a proper teapot and leaf tea anyday. That reminds me must go and put the kettle on!
