Yep, teak oil is a good finish on Iroko as well as teak but you'd need to reapply it periodically. Alternatively, no finish at all, just let it age and go silver-grey naturally. Even unprotected, Iroko lasts a lifetime and more.

That reclaimed teak from the pier sound good value though.
