I come across this pen in Violet collection and thought some of you might be interested I have made loads of these pens for demonstrators and lecturers but I dont think they available any more another old craft supplies of Derbyshire kit unscrew the tip for the pen or pull it out for a pointer good un-it

I think they look great, it's a shame they are not still around, but I can imagine there's not much call for them with the laser pointers around, I have turned a couple of outer skins for the laser pointers so that they looked like normal sized pens.

Two blanks I had sent to me

I had a delivery of 4 blanks today from our Peter (Buckeye) so I just had to start turning them how you guys manage to make such wonderfull blanks is beyond me I still have a bronce blank and a brass swarf blank left to turn but I am waiting for some gold Lucidia kits for the swarf blank and I;m not sure if I should use a brass, copper or gunmetal kit for the bronze what do you think
