I made this a couple of weeks ago as a commission for a lady who wanted a pen for her husband, made out of wood from the Lake District, Keswick if possible :noway1:

Well, living some 120 miles away, it wouldn't be worth the trip so I asked on here whether anyone could help. And guess what? Immediately got a response from GSteer who lives in Keswick :phew:

Couple of weeks later, some Beech arrives in the post and I'm away :thumbs:

Another example of the great folks on the forum, thanks Greg!

I was asked not to post until after the special event because the recipient is active on social media, and today is the day!
