As you say Craig it’s a scrap piece of wood but the workmanship looks good mate.

That's it Craig - you're off the mark. My suggestion is that you hang on to this pen. In a year's time you'll be able to look at it again and realise how far you've come. It's a great first pen, and I hope you enjoy the journey (which never ends by the way - it's a very deep rabbit hole you've stepped into)
