Well done Bill. Good that Blind Veterans were well represented at the Cenotaph on Sunday too.
We are always well represented Phil. I was at the parade at the Llandudno cenotaph & the public response was very moving. I also laid a wreath honouring those who died on the Atlantic convoys at the maritime museum Liverpool at 11am Friday the 11th. That too was very moving. You don't think these things will get to you but they do.

Yes, my late father-in-law was a WW2 navy veteran, who was invariably given the honour of laying the wreath each year, I think largely because he was about the only one left in the area. It was always very moving to see his emotions at the time. A glint in his eye if you mentioned the navy on 364 days of the year, and more than one tear in his eye on the 365th.
