Well Guys....
It always pays to be nice and i like to think were very nice on here...
So i did Bammer a favour and in return he sent me one of his stunning watch piece blanks....
It turned very easy with loads of ribbons being produced...he included a blank depth so i didn't go too deep on the face...very clever...20180419_182710.jpg

Ditto what Dave said - more details on the "blank depth thingy," please? (And for you novices, "thingy" is pen jargon for a "whatcha-ma-call-it," as is commonly used among rocket scientists, or a "do-hickey" as is commonplace with brain & spine surgeons.)

(And, Mark - the pen is simply gorgeous!)

So many beautifuls this week, ranking alongside is this ripper Mark and yes in agreement we on this forum try very hard to be nice to one another.what a great idea for measurement to contain the hands on the blank while turning.Striking, clear casting and clever turning guys.

Bammer included a card which said" 15mm over the face " so you know not to turn thinner than that...easy:pray:

He's a good lad that Bammer. He sent me one a while ago too, but he told me 14mm, so arguably I had to do more work on mine:funny:
