Had a look on a map it was a fair journey for you Kevin to Brampton. I also noticed Durham nearby my sisters husband emigrated in the 50,s from there since passed (he served in WW2). How long does it take to drive from Wear and Tyne to Brampton?.

Established yesterday to get a copy of all the entries at our Annual Exhibition last week end, they are so numerous I plan to show a few at a time on our forum when I get them, I forgot my camera last friday when I was there as a Steward.

Peter.

It’s only and hour and a half drive... so no problem...
My father also served in WWII having come over from Ireland he was part of the RAF and the Battle of Britain and his name is on all the memorials commemorating those that served he lived to tell the tale... although he did not tell the story...

I loved the show and as a novice I just admire the skills of others ...

Having been at the show & seeing the pieces first hand I can tell you there was some brilliant work there. What Kevin showed were the comp entries but there was loads of beautifully turned pieces foe sale as well. As usual another great day. A day to meet friends old & new.
