The blank has been cut for years, originally from the South Australian Border, had some beautiful grain from there. Sometimes when I see folded plastic blanks I am reminded mother nature has been doing this forever with Burls. Its a hot humid night.

I do like brown Mallee burl I managed to pick up a chunk last month hopefully it will turn as nicely as your pen Peter :thumbs:
