So perhaps not the prettiest European pen I’ve ever turned, but what it lacks in looks it makes up in aroma as I dressed it in the most fantastic smelling camphor wood…my workshop now smells like the Vicks Chest Rub factory 😆, what to do with all the shavings now? 🤔
Alas once lacquered (melamine as per Phil’s recipe) the pen itself no longer reeks of vaporub!

As above 👆, what a nice, clean and crisp pen, very nice indeed..... Sometimes you don't need to over complicate things. 😍
If you like nice smells try a whisky stave or huon pine🥰
Don't try antler 😷

Looks good Alex. I've turned and sold a fair few of those, back in the day.

Can you incorporate the shavings into a bag of some sort to keep the moths away? I know a few mates who could do with some in the wallets.
