That looks very nice, with a fine finish :thumbs:

It also looks very different to the Jr Gents we generally get over here, tops not postable, two rings down at the nib end, thread doesn't look plasticky and rhodium plating. Is this the new one from Timberbits

That looks really stunning Mark.

Finish and turned exceptionally well and the photo is spot on as well.

It looks like the Dayacom JR, (certainly their nib) where did you get the kit from?

I think the nurse will thank you as she makes use of this Rhodium mate it wears 10 to one over sterling silver IMHO for real busy people, once again real happy you are making again loe that colour green quite impressive.

Kind regards Peter.

That is one very nice pen Mark very nice indeed and it looks a very good quality Its not the pen we hate Mark its the quality of the kits that we have been getting sent to us I stopped buying them and switched to the barron but they to are of a poor quality as well which is a shame because I do like the kit's both J/G & the barron but refuse to buy poor quality but our Dan has solved the problem for up with the Omega pen which is a good quality kit
I also feel that some suppliers lowed the quality of the J/G on purpose so that they can introduce the Mk 2 J/G and double the price

Thank for the compliments, It is most certainly from Dayacom, I bought these from Carbatec in Brisbane, cost a bit more than TB's.
Until you said didn't notice it has metal threads.:goesred:

Oooooh that may be just what I'm after, I'll take a look at their site later, assuming they have one.

I cannot be seen to like a plastic pen Mark but you have made a good job f this one and the pic is good too.
It's just horrible plastic and colour.
Does this kit not echo what I have been griping about quality wise for ages.
Compare that with one of our jnr Gents and they are totally different pens init?

This kit is not what we would call a Jr Gent. I've made a few now although with plastic threads that I've bought as either Chairmans or Large Jr Gents. Here's a couple of pics showing the difference between the Jr Gent and the Chairman.
