Mt Trend Air Shield battery wont hold a charge any more,
Apparently the chargers keep charging as long as the are plugged in, I must confess that I left it on charge a few times and got distracted and forgot about it.:goesred:

A replacement battery is over $100.00, being electricy challenged I thought I would try pulling the battery pack apart.
It was all stuck in with some real sticky glue.

The manual said the batteries are Ni-MH and the voltage is 3 Cell, nominal 3.6V.
Last trip to Alice I went to Jaycar, explained to the bloke what I wanted to do

Put it in my helmet and it worked.:thumbs:

Then I got problems with the charger I bought.

I was just going to solder a longer wires onto the lead and use the original jack, but when I looked at the manual, they have two pair of cable connected to the battery.

See Page 14 and 22

What do I do.:sob::sob::sob:
