Love the acrylic blank not keen on the shape love the wooden ones especially the Buckeye I must say they are all superbly turned and finished

Three lovely pens Steve, having just replied to a similar looking blank i would place my money on Peter giving you the blank .. Love the Buckeye, it shows a superb finish .. :thumbs:

I do like the play in the title, very clever.

i must retake the pics tbh
boxwood is one of my favorites and i think suits the pen
buckeye is a nightmare to get decent pic

They are all great pens Steve, I especially like the buckeye, I think people may have guessed where you got the acrylic from:thumbs:

If you are going to rephotograph them try them horizontally.

I reckon i may just get a closed end out of it

I spent a good time turning the pink one...if it was shop bought 10 mins job done
because it was a gift and not replaceable i must have gone so easy it took me nearly an hour :goesred:

You might just get one out of it, especially a fountain pen as there is a little more leeway. but you could glue a piece of sacrificial wood to the bottom of the blank so that your live centre doesn't damage the blank and you can get almost the full size of the blank with very little waste. Maybe I have to make a bigger slab mould for blanks slightly larger.
