Hi all. Been a while since I have been in my man cave due to ongoing issues. Pleased to say that I have been experimenting yet again, this time with Micarta.
I went to the local charity shop and purchased a few paperbacks and on returning home went about casting them in resin. Unfortunately, it didnt work out how I had hoped for and apart from the huge mess it created I only managed to get a few usable blanks out of what I originally cast. I knew it was going to be a learning curve however so took it on the chin and turned my first pen using it today.
Apart from not having a complete wrap around with text I am very happy with how it came out.
Kit is a lucky.
