Paul I can tell your quite an accomplished scroller with many hours of practice. I tried to estimate my time using a scroll saw for 25+ years. I figure at least 10K. Is the material over the pattern used to hold it in place? What size blade are you using for this project?

I like this pattern. Well done.

Thank you Terry,
Wow 10k hours. mostly happy hour I hope.

The material is clear packing tape. It lubricates the blade. I have scrolled without it and I do notice a difference so I prefer to go with it.

I use Pritt stick to glue the pattern onto masking tape.
The blade is a Olsen 2/0 reverse tooth. I could of used a No5 for most of the pattern.

All the best,
Paul

Paul I showed the scene to Wilma lst night late,I chose late cause I turned off the room light when you lit the scene. She used to cut and make lovely creations but the lighting was brand new to her. She was excited and said to convey this to you.

Peter.

Well done looks great I don't use mine anywhere enough mainly for making parts for the models I build. I would love to be able to get a decent saw.

Paul I have used packing tape when cutting plastic. It keeps the cut from welding shut. Used it when cutting aluminum as well. Never thought to use it on wood. Are you cutting 3mm birch plywood?
