Yes.... Fit and finish looks really good..... But as John has said above, some acrylic blanks become translucent when turned. One way to stop the tubes showing through is to paint the brass tubes with acrylic paint either a complementry colour or contrasting colour, another and my preferred method is to paint the inside of the drilled hole, again acrylic paint on a cotton bud. Some people mix colour into their glue but if you paint the hole it's not needed.
I paint the drill hole. Like Mark & have problem gluing the tubes.
Sorry, my post should read that I have no problem gluing the tubes in.Just to clarify Bill, Are you saying you have a problem glueing the blanks after painting the hole, or was it meant to say you have no problem?
I paint the drilled hole with acrylic paint then glue the next day, usualy with CA Glue & haven’t had any issues on the few I’ve done.
