Got one, trying to work the software out now. The only issue is the good software is very expensive, the software called Easel which Inventables tell you to use is basic at a basic level. Will let you know what I produce when I get the software working as it should.

You should be aware that there is a Shapeoko 3 out. It's just a more ridged version that's designed to work with a trim router.
the model 2 comes with a Dremel knock off, and is a basic £20 type job. Also if you intend doing anything more than 2.5 d then the software can be quite a step learning curve. Saying all that i too have a Shapeoko 2 and the joy when you first get it to work is truly wonderful. Only got this for Xmas.

Steve, you can always cut the brackets out with your imo dremmel and make a holder for a 1/4" boasch palm router this is what I will be doing soon or replace it for a real dremmel. The CAD/CAD software will always have a learning curve but if you attack youtube you can learn quite a lot to help you along the way.
