You should be aware that there is a Shapeoko 3 out. It's just a more ridged version that's designed to work with a trim router.
the model 2 comes with a Dremel knock off, and is a basic £20 type job. Also if you intend doing anything more than 2.5 d then the software can be quite a step learning curve. Saying all that i too have a Shapeoko 2 and the joy when you first get it to work is truly wonderful. Only got this for Xmas.
